From the 90’s to Now — A Lifelong RC Journey

What started as a simple curiosity for RC airplanes in the 90’s turned into a lifelong passion for scale modeling. From building jets by hand with no internet to designing 3D-printed fuselages today, this is the story of how a dream took flight — and keeps flying stronger than ever. 🚁

How It All Started

All started back in the 90’s.

I began my RC journey with airplanes. But even back then, I wasn’t satisfied with models that didn’t really look like airplanes. I wanted scale models — something that looked as real as possible.

It wasn’t easy to find them at that time. So, with the little experience I had, I decided to build my own models. There was no internet — just a few books with pictures of airplanes.

To get better references, I started traveling around the USA, visiting air shows, and taking pictures of real aircraft to use for my builds.

That’s how I built my first F-14, then an F-15, and finally an F-16.

Everything changed when a friend introduced me to RC helicopters.

My life took a new direction, but I soon faced the same challenge — where to find scale fuselages?

That’s when I discovered Vario Helicopters, a German manufacturer known for its incredible quality.

Soon after, I became their official representative, and I had the amazing opportunity to build almost every model they produced.

A New Beginning

After many years in this hobby, I had to take a break for personal reasons.

Fifteen years later, I bought a small RC helicopter model — and history began to repeat itself.

I couldn’t resist the urge to make it look scale, but there were no fuselages available anywhere.

So, I bought my first 3D printer and started creating my own models from scratch.

And here I am now — designing and building small-scale fuselages for small helicopters, trying to bring new options to everyone who shares the same passion as I do.

Every model is built with passion, dedication, and the same excitement that started it all back in the 90’s.
